C960 - Goldberg vector (4,4)

The number of atoms in a Goldberg polyhedron is given by the formula N=20(h2 + hk + k2). If h=k, one has N=60*h2=60*42 = 960 atoms in (4,4)-Goldberg polyhedron.

Poster for the 4th cross-strait theoretical and computational chemistry

I made another poster for the 4th cross-strait theoretical and computational chemistry (CTCC4) held at Kinmen university in Kinmen (金門) this week. This poster essentially has very similar connent but different pictures of beaded model as the one I made for the annual meeting of Taiwan's chemical society.
